And it all kind of makes you chuckle cause whenever he has himself beat on it's never in a romantic or loving, or sexual fashion. The film constantly states he's a masochist, over, and over, and over again. His boss beat him and he feels that someone able to kill his boss must be the ultimate monster that can grant him his darkest wish. We fallow Kakihara on his quest for what at first seems like revenge over his bosses death, but it soon turns out the Kakihara is obsessed with feeling pain and the idea of dyeing the most painful way possible. The story is about a gang war where a Yakuza boss gets killed off and one of his workers tries to hunt down said killer. The movie you'll often see listed as one of the most disturbing flicks of all time(the Manga is way worse due to the animal torture that didn't make it into the film, oh that and the gun rape) Ichi the Killer, if you don't know, was a Manga series.
